Welterweight journeyman Daniel Calzada (9-9-2, 2 KOs) came out the victor against over Carlos Marquez (4-2, 1 KO) with a six round majority decision. The judges’ scores were 57-57, 59-55 and 58-56.
Vitor Jones de Oliveira (1-0, 1 KO), nephew of former Brazilian champion Acelino Freitas, dropped Martin Quezada (2-8, 2 KOs) three times in the second round and the fight was stopped. The bout was fought at the junior lightweight limit.
Junior lightweight rookie David Escamilla (3-0, 1 KOs) was victorious over Jair Quintero (0-1) by a four round unanimous decision. Escamilla dropped Quintero with a bodyshot in the second round.
Puerto Rican bantamweight Starling Cordero (7-0, 4 KOs) scored a first round TKO over Abraham Rubio (3-2-1, 1 KO).
Donovan Dennis (9-1, 7 KOs) defeated fellow heavyweight Hugo Arceo (3-1-1, 3 KOs) by a third round TKO.
