Cruiserweight knockout artist Ilunga Makabu’s (13-, 13 KOs) power proved to be too much for Tamas Lodi (9-1-1, 7 KOs) to handle. In the first couple of rounds Makabu would dig to the body and connect on key uppercut shots. A left hand by Makabu in round three dropped Lodi and the referee stopped the fight a short time later to save Lodi from further punishment.

Kirill Relikh (13-0, 13 KOs) wasted no time attacking Paolo Gassani (16-4, 8 KOs) in the opening round en route to a knockout victory. The junior welterweight power puncher landed several left hand blows in which Gassani succumbed to in the first round.

Sergey Rabchenko (23-0, 17 KOs) outclassed Adriano Nicchi (20-4-2, 9 KOs) to retain his EBU junior middleweight title with a second round knockout victory. Rabchenko came forward with volume punching and the bout was put to a halt after Rabchenko planted a potent left hand head shot on Nicchi.
